I angled around the rigors of geometry while finding humorous contexts for the various shapes such as the isosceles triangle which I used to depict the Isosceles Bartender in my AMUSINGS gallery. Double entendre shares equal space on my palette, alongside burnished ochres and cadmium reds. What a generous bevy of Twenties Beauties, Barb! It's hard to favor only one, so I'll mention two that caught my eye: The gal nursing an espresso at a table under a wall painting--for whispy & delicate brushwork; and this 'Picture Hat' (is that really what it's called?), so daringly stylized that it stands out as representative of the entire manic era...

And the woman with the espresso with her pen and her journal/notebook, is sitting in my spot. I am "waiting to to take her place"..... 😉
