I really like the individuality of the women captured here, the suggestion of the actress' tasks, and in general the storytelling portrayed here. The lines with which the tailor's clothes are drawn are wonderfully elegant, too! l/f

Barbara Chase replied:

Thank you Dorothy! I really appreciate and enjoy your observations... :)

The most interesting stories happen backstage - your Primadonnas are grandious, one is reading, the next is doubting if its good enough, the third one seems to have a bit fear and the fourth one can hardly await to Play her part. And the man behind seems to take care of the costumes -( and the emotions?....) - Barbara, this is great Theater - with only some lines - and sooo much Talent!!! - Dagmar LF

Barbara Chase replied:

Thank you, Dagmar. I've always loved the theater and the last-minute rush of adrenaline. My mother was a clothing and costume designer, and I, a (nervous) "prima-donna." It sounds like maybe you also can identify with this scenario?? :))

Double entendre shares equal space on my palette, alongside burnished ochres and cadmium reds. When the shutterbug within created the series titled ILLUMINATIONS, it required thousands of hours, a macro lens, a light box, and a gazillion...
