Barbara -- this is a great, great watercolor -- it shows so much emotion! l/f
Barbara Chase replied:
Thank you, Bill! I’m glad you see what I have always believed was going on in her life. There must have been a great mixture of emotions going on inside her head.

A perfect painting. Not only of Jackie, but as being representative of all of all kind, intelligent and beautiful woman. Excellent. :-)

Yes! She set the style of a nation. Featured in the SHE HAS STYLE group because she is so tastefully painted here!
Barbara Chase replied:
Thank you, PJ...your appreciation and support is so wonderful.. and the universal appreciation for Jackie, which lives on, is indeed a pretty amazing legacy.

P.S.: That you painted this Portrait in watercolor makes it even more remarkable!!!
Barbara Chase replied:
Thank you so much, Dagmar! (I did just as you suggested, by the way...and am revived, refreshed, and ready to "while-away" a new week. ;)) You also, I hope! I used watercolor for this but have sometimes created with inkwashes....and the ink often "intuits" as well as the watercolor. If I someday get to retrieve him (he is in storage in California), I will share my "Mark Twain Alias Samuel L. Clemens" ink wash. He didn't turn out too badly if I may say).
